Spring Season 2026

CRS Rehearsal & Concert Weekend

Good evening, CRS Musicians & Supporters!

The excitement is definitely building. I am not sure that may are aware that our concert has made it on the news on two of the big news stations in Portland over the last week or so. Both KOIN (channel 6), and KPTV Fox 12 news stations have reported on the Columbia River Symphony’s “BUMP” concert. For those that are interested…here are the links to the two stories:

KOIN: “BUMP” Story

KPTV Fox 12: “BUMP” Story

I also want to take this moment to remind you that we have our FINAL rehearsal THIS Saturday (normal time) at Astoria High School (10:00am—Noon). Please arrive early and prepare to have a very full two-hour rehearsal. We WILL be using music lights on our stands for this rehearsal, so please come early if you do not have one so that we can get this set up (with cords and lights that I have from the Nutcracker). If you need share a stand with someone playing the same part in your section that works too.

Our M.C. (Kellan Peterson) will be present for this rehearsal, so that we can practice going through the entire concert with him. This will give both Kellan and the orchestra an idea of how this will work when we are performing at the Liberty.
